1. Who we are
Websites are built and sold by Bradford General Contracting LLC, run by its owner, Brad Brennan, at 1499 S Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Bradford General Contracting LLC, and "you" means the business owner who buys a website from us.
We make done-for-you websites for small, owner-run local businesses. We build your site first, so you see it finished before you pay anything.
2. The two plans
You choose one of two plans in your agreement.
Monthly plan: $89 a month, nothing upfront
- A custom website for your business, built from your own photos, services and reviews, as shown in your preview.
- Your own web address (for example, yourbusiness.com), registered in your name. We pay for it while you're on the monthly plan.
- Hosting, so your site stays online.
- Quote or order requests from your site sent to your phone by text (see section 10).
- Adding your website to your Google Business Profile, once you give us manager access.
- Changes whenever you need them: new photos, prices, services or hours (see section 7).
Own it outright: $850 one time, no monthly fee
- One payment of $850, due before the site goes live.
- We set up the site on hosting in your name, and you own the website design and code for your business.
- You pay for your web address directly, about $15 a year.
- Quote requests: we set them up to come to your email, which shows up on your phone, at no extra cost.
- Text message alerts are optional. Phone carriers require the business sending automated texts to register, so on this plan the texts run on your own account, registered in your business's name. You pay those costs directly: about $20 to $45 one time to register, about $3 to $16 a month, and about a penny per text (the provider's current prices apply). We handle the setup for you.
- Changes after handover are $50 each.
3. Billing that repeats
$89 a month, billed automatically each month. 12-month minimum, then month to month until you cancel. Cancel anytime by text or email; cancelling in the first 12 months is a one-time $50 fee.
- The monthly plan renews automatically every month until you cancel.
- The monthly fee is charged to your card automatically each month, starting the day your site goes live.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You get a receipt for every payment.
- Charges show on your card or bank statement as BRADFORD GC LLC.
- If a payment fails, we'll let you know. If it isn't fixed within 14 days, we may take the site offline until it is.
- The own-it plan is a single payment of $850. It does not repeat.
4. Minimum term and cancelling
The 12-month minimum
The monthly plan has a 12-month minimum, starting the day your site goes live. After 12 months it continues month to month.
How to cancel
- Send a text to Brad at 561-485-0706, or an email to bradfordbhi@gmail.com.
- Say that you want to cancel, and include your business name.
- That's it. You don't need to call, fill out a form or give a reason.
When billing stops
Your cancellation takes effect at the end of that month's billing period. You won't be charged the monthly fee again after that.
This is the same whether you cancel during the first 12 months or after.
Cancelling in the first 12 months
If you cancel before the 12 months are up, there's a one-time $50 early cancellation fee. You don't owe the rest of the 12 months.
How the $50 fee is collected: we text or email you a secure one-time $50 payment link. It isn't charged to your card automatically.
What happens when you cancel
On the monthly plan, the site comes down. You keep your web address and all your content, and we'll help you transfer the web address to your own account at no charge.
At any time, you can switch from the monthly plan to owning the site outright for $850 (section 2).
5. Refunds
You see your finished website before you pay anything. On the monthly plan, the first charge is made the day your site goes live. On the own-it plan, the $850 is due before the site goes live.
- Monthly plan: monthly payments already made aren't refunded. When you cancel, the next charge doesn't happen.
- Own-it plan: if your site hasn't gone live yet, we refund the $850 in full. Once it's live, the $850 isn't refunded, but if anything on the site isn't what we agreed, we fix it at no charge.
6. Problems and disputes
If something isn't right with your site or a charge, call or text Brad at 561-485-0706 or email bradfordbhi@gmail.com.
Please contact Brad first about any billing problem, before going to your bank or card company. Brad replies within 1 business day and will make it right if we got something wrong.
Either of us can end the agreement if the other doesn't hold up their end and doesn't fix it within 14 days of being told. The agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
7. Changes and change fees
- Monthly plan: changes are included, whenever you need them: new photos, prices, services or hours. Send them by text or email and we'll make them, usually within 2 business days.
- Own-it plan: changes after handover are $50 each.
8. Your web address
- Your web address is registered in your name from day one. It's yours.
- On the monthly plan we pay for it while you're on the plan. On the own-it plan you pay for it directly, about $15 a year.
- If you cancel, we'll help you transfer it to your own account at no charge.
9. Who owns what
- You own your business name, logo, photos, reviews and anything else you give us.
- On the monthly plan, we own the website design and code and license it to you while your plan is active. If you cancel, the site comes down, and you keep your web address and all your content.
- On the own-it plan, you own the website design and code for your business.
- At any time, you can switch to owning the site outright for $850.
10. Quote request texts
On the monthly plan, quote or order requests from your site are sent to your phone by text. By signing the agreement, you agree to receive these automated texts at the number you give us. Reply STOP anytime to turn them off, and they'll come by email instead.
On the own-it plan, quote requests come to your email. Text alerts are optional and run on your own account, as described in section 2.
11. Your content
- You confirm that the photos, logos and information you give us, or that come from your Google listing, are yours to use.
- You're responsible for keeping your prices, hours and services accurate. Tell us when something changes and we'll update it.
12. What we can't promise
- We'll keep your site online and working, but we can't promise it will never go down. Hosting companies, phone carriers and email services sometimes have outages.
- We don't promise any search ranking, number of calls, or amount of new business.
- Our total responsibility under the agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
13. General
- The agreement starts on the date both of us sign it.
- Either of us can end the agreement if the other doesn't hold up their end and doesn't fix it within 14 days of being told.
- The agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
- Any change to the agreement has to be in writing (text or email counts) and agreed by both of us.
